| Professional Biography
Since 1987, I have dedicated my work to effecting personal and societal change. As a psychotherapist I have given particular attention to exploring the interface between psychological work and spiritual work.
My academic education includes a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and a graduate certificate in Holistic Health Care from Western Michigan University. In addition to my training in transpersonal, Jungian, and ecopsychology, I have studied and continue to be a student of Christian Mysticism, Buddhism, and Shamanism.
I have traveled extensively to participate in professional development workshops and residential intensives at the Omega Institute, Esalen Institute, and Fetzer Institute. From 19962000 I co-produced and hosted Ideas That Matter: The Fetzer Dialogues, an audio series focused on the themes of consciousness, spirituality and global transformation. The series aired nationally on NPR and internationally on the New Dimensions Broadcast Network.
I am founder of Community Circle, a monthly public dialogue group focused on personal and social transformation, and co-founder of Chrysalis Community, a non-profit organization that offers retreats for people with life-threatening illness.
Most importantly, I continue to consciously engage in the transformation of my own personal life.
